       @christopher @thomas Please keep in mind that #Purism only earns one time money from the purchase. They are not harvesting your private information to sell it.A lot of work goes into development, also of free and open source software (FOSS). With a purchase you would support all of this.

       @christopher @janvlug @thomas I enjoy using my Librem 5 and I’m tempted to get another one for family. There really isn’t a better alternative to Apple or Android and most people need to understand that they are leading society down some dystopian paths. It’s far from perfect, but Librem 5 can get you by.

       @christopher I have a work phone that a use a bit too, but I do use the Librem pretty often. I keep saying that I’m going to put a SIM card in it, but haven’t had the need yet. I use SIP for calls, XMPP for texts, Tootle for ActivityPub stuff, FoxtrotGPS for maps.
