@futurebird same. I follow several folks who toot in English only some of the time. It's fun. Sometimes I can make out a few words (or slightly more than a few if it's French or Spanish).

@futurebird I don‘t filter languages, because I can guess at quite a few. I‘m aware that this is a privilege, but I feel weird about it - like everyone should have it.In doubt, translations aren‘t bad these days… 🙂

@futurebirdSame here, really tiring when I have brain fog. I wish the language filters worked better. The fact that I can hit the translate button is of no help whatsoever.

@futurebird I’ve had that happen with Russian. In the at least some fonts my brain doesn’t quite realize it’s looking at a different alphabet, so there’s a few seconds of bafflement that my brain isn’t doing the thing.
