       I wrote a fairly mundane post on Reddit that led to me getting an AI-prompted message with suicide prevention resources. I was completely mystified but then I realized it was probably because I included the phrase: "I find it hard to manage" (in a context like "I find it hard to manage the crabgrass in my garden ... ").This is the future isn't it? AI pestering us with context-free misunderstood nonsense. I guess I should just count myself lucky that the AI didn't institutionalize me.

       @danielnazer Unix process manipulation gets a bit bleak too with kill, uninterruptible sleep, zombies which are children waiting for their parents to realize their dead (all processes of course).So probably some message like that is in my future.

       @smallsees @danielnazer one dares not post a question on red!t asking for "assistance in killing orphaned threads" lest the terrorism watch are alerted and you are detained!One dares not use a search engine to find the relevant documentation either, for the same reason.Best just to let the runaway process consume all the resources and destroy the machine.

       @smallsees @danielnazer Lol - that was a good one!  KILL!  KILL! - lol.  i found out a while ago that our distro - PCLinuxOS - comes with KILL! already installed - just in case.  And, we've actually used it a couple of times now - so nice.  It's already installed.  Just Open the menu, run it, select program and KILL!!!
