@jimsalter I assume you already know this, but the PracticalZFS site is not working. I'm getting "Peer’s Certificate issuer is not recognized." on my end.I don't think the issue is on my end, but happy to be educated 😀 It started happening for me yesterday and, since you have a day job, I figure you'll get it fixed when you can...But, just in case you didn't know...

@tripplehelix Ha! Clearly… 🫠I was on the web interface, on the person's page and ... well ... missed a step. Thanks!

@Topslakr @tripplehelix https://discourse.practicalzfs.com is the correct URL--technically, there is no bare "practicalzfs.com" site at all at the moment; you just get redirected to discourse if you omit the keyword (and ignore the SSL error).I intend to set up a broader site with articles and information on the bare practicalszfs.com soonish, it just hasn't happened yet. :)

@jimsalter @tripplehelix Interesting. My bookmarks points to the full URL with discourse in the name, but I still get the error. This is the bookmakr I’ve been using since the site went live. No matter what permutation of the URL I use though, I still get the error.

@Topslakr @tripplehelix your browser very likely cached the redirect, rather than caching the actual URL. You can go into the history, find any cached visits to either the bare domain or the proper sub and delete those entries.

@jimsalter I must just be shadow banned 🫠Even in a totally new browser, from a system 100% unique from my own, using the link you posted I can't get there. It fails on Firefox here on my local PC, and this is from Edge, on a Windows RD Server several states away. Differnet network. Different internet. Differnet aritecture.I get it. Nobody likes me, everybody hates me .. I'm going to go eat worms 😁

@Topslakr I'm installing Edge on a system right now to see if I can replicate the Smartscreen issue.I open the site many times daily on multiple systems, mostly Linux or Android but occasionally Windows. I'm aware of the certificate mismatch issue if someone browses to the bare domain name, but the Smartscreen thing is a new one on me.

@Topslakr @tripplehelix and if you're wondering why I haven't just set up an extra cert on the discourse site... welcome to the modern hell of "a website is something that runs self-contained from a Docker image."I'll have to set up an entirely separate webserver and all, when I do the bare pZFS, not just add a site to an existing Apache/nginx installation!

@Topslakr I can confirm Smartscreen is throwing a hissyfit right now about literally every page on the domain; I'm guessing this has something to do with one of the recent Discourse updates.I issued an "I'm the site owner and you're full of shit" feedback response to Microsoft; we'll see where that goes. Sigh.I WONDERED why traffic had nosedived the last couple of days...

@jimsalter I’m sure Microsoft is going to get right on that, on Friday … at 5PM :)Sorry to hear traffic has dropped off, but glad I’m not alone. I can’t get in on Firefox, Edge, Safari, Chrome, Windows, macOS, Linux (Debian) … no matter what I try and I need my ZFS chat fix! And, it looks like Cisco Umbrella/OpenDNS has it flagged to, claiming it’s a phishing site. Thanks for looking into it!

@Topslakr also, I *really* hope you were doing me a solid and clicking the "this site doesn't contain phishing threats" link on that SmartScreen page. :)

@jimsalter @Topslakr I hit this same issue at work the other day. It took me a bit to "figure it out" because I was on Firefox on Linux so it just blocked access for me. After realizing my VPNd phone could still access it I realized it was my workplace, and so hopped on Edge on the corporate Windows computer. I vouched for the site's safety, but for now still can't browse it at work because it is still blocked by the corporate firewall or something, like you said Jim I'm sure they're "borrowing" some information/heuristics from each other.
