Honestly these boxes are really well put together. It fits both the sheets of cardboard and all the items after they are punched out. The plastic tops/dividers keep each section secure even if the box flips in the car if I were going to a friend's house. It's been a while since I picked up a "new" game but this should really be standard. It's great. #heroes3 #heroesmightandmagic #boardgames

Ok, this took quite a while to setup. It's as bad as the first time I setup Axis and Allies. The different types of cards made it a little rough, most have the same back and need to be hand sorted. I have a feeling some type of card play mat will be created, but for now... index cards! Also I think each player needs a table, you have a ton of stuff. #heroes3 #heroesofmightandmagic #boardgames

So I actually got to play #heroes3 the #boardgame last night. It was fun, but every action caused me to stop and spend 15 minutes reading rules. In 90 minutes I did 1 turn, which included 2 fights.I have a feeling this will be fun once I learn all the rules, but this is really 3 distinct games that uses short hand for some mechanics.ex: search(3) means to draw the top 3 cards and only keep 1, OR draw the top card from the discard pile.#heroesofmightandmagic

I mean, that's fine and hardly abnormal for games, but the definitions for these is scattered through out the rule book, typically substantially after their first use. That was confusing. These should be described in the front.Anyway the 3 games are Map traversal/resource gathering/castle building, Monsters/Combat, and deck building/character leveling. It made my head hurt a little, it's a bit to ingest. Had to watch a video to figure out some parts.
