We need a different word for "old computer parts" and "parts for old computers". People use "retro" for both. Like a Packard Bell 486 is the former: it was made in the 90s.And a PicoGUS is the later: it's an ISA card that can be used in computers from the 90s, but it was made recently.

@foone Someone tried to coin “newtro,” but it’s not working.

@foone Aged for actually old parts, I'd say new-old for PicoGUS but that's just unused Vintage.

@fooneI could go with "vintage" for parts made at the time the tech was new and "retro" for new stuff for an old tech. Mostly because "retro" means "to go back" in my mind.

@fooneRetro tech: old technology; Anachro tech: new tech for old tech; Anarcho tech: technology with anarchist aims.

@foone modern ISA cards would be "old school" in my mind.

@foone refactronics? Refactor + electronics. Or perhaps Anachrotronics? Anachronism + electronics.
