       Daniel-Ryan Spaulding, a comedian whose tagline is “Power Gay,” has lately devoted his energies to opposing antisemitism and supporting Israel, which is certainly his prerogative and I don’t begrudge him his opinion and free speech.  However, lately he has singled out for special opprobrium women and only women in showbiz: Susan Sarandon, Rosie O’Donnell, Cynthia Nixon and Sara Ramirez.  For him they are easy targets, there is no personal or professional downside to slagging them online.  I find it cheap and self-serving.(for the record I deplore antisemitism and find the entire I/P situation complicated and tragic)
