       I just bought a Corolla Cross Hybrid and I hadn’t even read this article yet. Now that I have, I’m intrigued to learn that it’s the only small crossover in the US that achieves “on demand” all-wheel-drive with a gas/electric hybrid drivetrain in the front, plus an extra electric motor to drive the rear wheels when needed.Which seems like a no-brainer, sorta, given a certain set of design criteria. https://www.theautopian.com/i-cant-believe-the-30k-toyota-corolla-cross-hybrid-is-this-good/
