I think there are a lot of problems with India. The culture includes a lot of corruption, and many states still cannot provide clean water or consistent water pressure. My father went back in the 2010s and said the air was still unfit to breathe. My sister went years later and said he exaggerated, it wasn't as bad, but it still wasn't good.A lot of Indians try to get out, and it has a huge brain drain, with many of the best people leaving. (Many unable to return if they take a foreign flag as India does not allow dual citizenship). @djsumdog @hachi The biggest problem I have with India is how fundamentally alien it feels culturally. Most of the world has at least somewhat been Christianized and Westernized. China and its sphere of influence are plenty weird in their own right, but Confucianism still feels like a fairly relatable and comprehensible ethos. India makes absolutely no sense to me and everything I find out about it makes me want to have nothing to do with it. People don't understand the depths of the Eldritch horrors White Supremacy has protected us from.

My sister feels this is due to there being no grace or mercy within Hinduism (she's an evangelical Christian) and that their culture chases status and influence. Honestly it's not that far removed from what China has become, except without the authoritarianism to build infrastructure (which was originally not bad in China, but now it's full of tofu cities).Another issue is that India is not one unified culture. A lot of people in the South can't speak Hindi and people in the north don't know Tamil. It honestly would have been better off it had been partitioned into more nations. The Rupee has "Bank of India" written on it in 14 different languages.

There are people there who do that and drink cow piss. It's an embarrassment, and not respected at all by people who have left. I think the number of people/villages who participate is exaggerated a bit. I never saw it (or the "shitting streets"), but I did see the poor shanty towns and open sewers and people bathing in the polluted Ganges outside of Red Fort (which is insanely beautiful piece of architecture from another era).

But since the Babaylan are traditionally female, it involved men taking on the role, dress and behaviours of woman in all respects in order to be accepted as such. Similarly the Germanic male priesthood of the Matronae cults were reputed at least to have been transvestites. Then there're the Seiðrmaðr (such as Óðinn) who would take on the roles of women in order to perform the rites associated with that practice among Germanic/Scandinavian peoples. When these things are accepted, it's almost always in a sacred context associated with a shaman-like role involving the transgression and crossing of boundaries both material and spiritual alike.

You're an atheist so you must have some theory on how the universe was created, probably some variation of the big bang (which was created by a catholic mind you) right? Eventually those theories get so complex (mathematically, physically, phillosophically) that you have to tap out and say "I don't fully understand general relativity and the standard model and how they breakdown at high energy levels, I jsut don't get it but it doesn't really matter to me anyway"It would be very silly of me to say you can't be an atheist if you can't take a covariant derivative of a spacetime manifold.

Perhaps because we can't see the future for a reason so our actions would become perverted from the knowledge we can't see that there is a long perhaps eternal chain of events awaiting us and the jew is merely a simple problem disguised as a complex problem and the jew is something to evolve us but only if we defeat the jew and if we can't we are destroyed and vice versa. The jew is our juxtaposition they are what we see through the looking glass, a twisted version of us, an anomaly, a pure enigma. Jews themselves could be nothingness in that they create nothing and only destroy, they are themselves as a whole a cosmic horror of an entity. I don't need a force of height or a shortest object for the concepts to make sense. I just try to poke holes in the Christian view of it.Paganism seems more sound (and a lot less harmful) than Monotheism but I see no reason to believe that either. If I see it myself or receive a personal revelation that'd be a different matter, but otherwise naturalistic philosophy makes sense.

The aid helped, but the real miracle of the Japanese recovery is due to the Japanese themselves.Any complaining about colonization is just a cope. Open acceptance of homosexuality is to a civilization what crack smoking is to the human body. History shows this, as does our current situation.
