Tink (in back) has had what we thought was a tooth abscess for a couple of days—we were giving her antibiotics, but today, she seemed like she was getting worse, so we went to the emergency vet. It was cancer—& it had already spread to her lymph glands. So we’ve lost our Tink, but hopefully, she’s reunited with Tibby (in front). I can’t believe they’re both gone. My heart won’t stop breaking. #Tinkabell #TheOGChi #DogsOfMastodon

She was 2 yrs old when we adopted her—she’d been living on the street, but a cpl of women who worked for the Santa Clarita PD spent weeks trying to nab her & finally got their hands on her w/ a McDonalds cheeseburger. She was skin & bones, had hypothyroidism & a broken leg. But she recovered & turned into the sweetest, cuddliest, goofiest little Chi ever. We had 12 yrs with her. It wasn’t enough, & I don’t know what I’ll do w/o her. 💔 #Tinkabell #TheOGChi

It is said that a beloved pet takes 3/4 of your heart with them to the rainbow bridge...That's because they've already summoned the next one to come fill the void and make your heart whole again, but it takes time.
