       they seem to be phasing out 1Gbps and 2Gbps internet plans in SG, seems like soon the slowest you can get as a new customer is 5Gbps :kaia_look:

       @eal @cobalt singapore has the distinct advantage of having alot of CDNs domestically, so for most normies their traffic doesn’t leave the islandalas my internet usually has to cross borders so the advantage of 10Gbps is lost on me - 1Gbps is already more than enough for me (at the moment)

       @eal @cobalt open an obscure video on youtube and you can notice them copying the video into sg; first load will be slow, but a subsequent fresh load an hour or so later will be speedy
