I enjoyed the scene because it fit the scene easily. Stark had no confidence in himself for defeating this foe, it took outside influence to get him to do it, but once he did, he did it all on his own. It was a simple task, big for him but he did it easily without any external help. I think the animation style for that scene was perfect, because it blends what stark perceived and what actually happened very well.

@Goalkeeper @TornadoOfTerror I know nothing about animation, tbh. All I can say is that these scenes lack any sense of scale, position, relativity. You're just supposed to be wowed, but you can't exactly understand much of what's happening on the screen. Much like in Marvel movies, that wow you with colourful explosions.

@Giga_Vril_Breaker @Goalkeeper @TornadoOfTerror I've had some training in animation. From what I see in the clip it seems flat. Objects and the characters look more like they are sliding on ice. The pan and angle changes are also disorienting.An old trick animators often use is to over exaggerate motion and physics. This translates to feeling more realistic to the eye. That is lacking here as well.

Here's an example of Rotoscoping done well. The shots it's used in enhance the scene and give realistic weight to a situation grounded in reality. A dude fighting a dragon is the exact opposite of that, it just doesn't work in the context they used it in.
