@pixel Everything has to be now darkmode + bisexual lighting. It's just the 2024 look. Maybe next year we well get a new unique design trend that everyone will copy? :blobcat_wonder:

It's offensive that they call it "fastest" when it gets slower with every release, and now takes OVER AN ENTIRE SECOND to delete an email

@pixel@desu.social When does this design pattern (hero image + dark theme etc.) become GitHub's exclusive :blobcatthinking:

@Candinya it didn'tthe concept is not new, and the design like this (some large image element and some highlighted text with a gradient) has been there for a while as wellit just looks really similar to the GitHub one!

@pixel With the new Mozilla's investments they might soon add some ✨️ inbox copilot ✨️ to further match the header titles :blobcatgiggle:

@ananas Hmm, while it still belongs to a Mozilla subsidiary, I don't think Thunderbird is particularly influenced by corp/foundations decisions anymore. If that were the case, it wouldn't be developed at all anymore (so, how it has been before the new team picked up)

@pixel Firefox started using the blue to purple gradient years ago. I first saw it on Firefox Focus.
