How would I have done Galactic Starcruiser, the Disney Star Wars hotel / LARP / interactive theater experience?First, ditch the concept that all the timelines have to line up. In other words Disney claims that Galaxy's Edge and Galactic Starcruiser happen in the dull years between Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. Fuck that, the space hotel happens during the original trilogy and we still get to land in Galaxy's Edge. In fact the Millenium Falcon is the departure point for super deluxe guests, piloted by Han Solo himself providing door to door service, accomplished with a side exit and turbolift. Falcon docks with the 'starcruiser' and guests enter what is alleged to be the starcruisers turbolift, when it's a high speed underground shuttle to the relatively nearby starcruiser facility. On the starcruiser you get the Cantina Band, Chewbacca, R2 and 3P0, as many Cantina aliens as can be packed in, as well as every variety of OG droid including fan favorite Power Droid and Death Star Droid. Plot involves Vader boarding the starcruiser looking for a rebel spy. The spy contacts various guests (similar to the plot of the actual starcruiser) to help them evade the Imperial boarding party. You get OG stormtroopers and Imperial officers, naturally, and the weaselly Imperial will offer to bribe anyone who rats out the spy.The climax is, of course, a lightsaber fight between Vader... and Ashoka Tano! Yep, she is alive in the Original Trilogy era, and she can fight Vader here, in a side story. Pleasing prequel era fans and not contradicting canon.Win/win! Oh, and of course the starcruiser is touring the outer rim, and you end up on Tattooine itself at the end for a nice drink at the Cantina.

@SonofNumenor Between Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars is a pretty good era to set a Galactic Starcruiser LARP.

@McNasty The Clone Wars CG series was directly supervised by George Lucas and made pre-2012 when Lucasfilm was his personal property.Rebels is from the Disney era, and looks it.

@McNasty Yeah, Clone Wars was on Netflix for years before Disney+ hoarded all Disney franchises for itself.

@McNasty Yeah, Disney's purchase of Marvel closed around 2010, but they didn't fully take over day to day operations for years as it was a money machine. Plus the setup for the Thanos story required they stick to the plan to reap the synergistic rewards. Once that ended the Disney cunt squad could swarm in and destroy it.
