       unfortunately it's the first term that really caught on to describe the permanent damage covid does to peopleand given the varying types of such damage, it is a muddled concept that ties together a lot of different things that have only one thing to do with eachother: they are caused by covidthere's a couple main expected consequences, though, for example the lack of a functioning vascular system, a change in blood clot behavior, and a general lack of regular functioning muscles leading to inability to engage in physical exertion at a normal level
