       @billiam Baikal as a caldav/carddav server on a home server. Thats good enough for calendaring and address book apps on gnu/linux and macos.  oid doesnt have the best compatibility with carddav though so you need the second one as an adapter that can feed androids calendaring system.​  The third one is just to replace google calendar, its not strictly necessary.

       @billiam I should add, I wanted to have synchronized calendars (that I control) between my own devices, and shared calendars with other people as well which is why I wanted a central calendar server like baikal
