@ChasingWaterfalls I've been saying for years that the one form of Internet "censorship" I would like is for people to stop being able to post unauthorized pictures of other people online. I knew there would have to be exceptions, in order to cover news events involving public figures, but I also remembered that, in the television era, you couldn't just force people to be on TV. For segments to be aired on "Candid Camera," even, people had to sign consent forms after the fact.If this is part of a package that significantly protects the privacy of all Canadians, then the fact that thieves receive the same protection is a small price to pay. I suspect it isn't, though.
