@veryhot I haven't touched my Tumblr account in months, the Fediverse has been much more interesting. I used to be quite the Tumblr addict before the porn ban ruined everything. I suppose we have to thank FOSTA/SESTA for the porn ban, since many sex workers used Tumblr back then. I came to Tumblr for the memes, the weirdness, and the anarchists. I stayed for the nudity, the kink, and the queerness. When Tumblr bulldozed the nudity, I left, but I came back after Twitter had banned me for insulting Nazis. On Tumblr, I could insult Nazis all day long, I never got into trouble for that. I tried Mastodon for a while, but the critical mass wasn't there yet--there must be some five orphaned Mastodon accounts of mine out there somewhere, if those instances still exist and haven't deleted my old accounts--but after the Elongated Muskrat bought Twitter, I decided to give Mastodon another try because there were so many people there all of a sudden.And within a few weeks, Mastodon became my main social networking activity, I haven't used Tumblr very much since then.

@LordCaramac I only use Tumblr cause of the queue and since I have a ton of sources of nice images there, I never posted anything since the nipple ban (and I never posted any porn anyway). As Twitter was still alive, I was able not network the networks, so anything coming out of Tumblr queue or pinned on Pinterest is auto-posted on Twitter and Mastodon. All that depended on Twitter API and is gone now, I do repost what comes out of Tumblr manually though.

@LordCaramac Mastodon is not without a sin - I also lost a few accounts, some instances die, some think you post too much, some change leadership and as such, rules. Twitter killed my account once, seemingly just cause it grew too quickly, Mastodon, one of the instances did it once as well, in a very similar way, without an explanation. This instance seems to be working well for now, but what I can take home is that nothing is permanent :)
