Stop doing introductory sentences/paragraphs/nutgraphs. Instead:<HEADLINE>THE CONTENT PROMISED IN THE HEADLINEEnd. I don't need to know about the farm you grew up on I just want to know what temp I should bake this cheesecake at. :Anger_PowerUp:

@feld @twizzay I have heard of people using AI to summarize recipes from pages by having it strip all the non-recipe crap

@twizzay yes! Also, stop repeating the headline in the subtitle, first paragraph, (unrelated stock) image caption, and mid-article block quote.

@Moon @feld So recipe sites all follow a similar HTML schema so that search engines can crawl the data effectively. We don't need AI. We just need tools to parse html that leave out all the keyword dense content. They already exist which is what makes this system even more broken.

@twizzay @feld fwiw I only advocate self-hosted AI models. But if a simpler tool can do it that's great.

@twizzay @Moon I bet it could be solved with a fancy ublock origin rule
