We are all aware that we use the Latin alphabet, but have you ever once asked yourself why isn't there an English alphabet? 🤔"There's a better English alphabet."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D66LrlotvCA&pp=ygUHU2hhdmlhbg%3D%3D

@Invictus why worry about the glyphs, when it's the language itself that's fucked up and cattywampus?

@IceCubeSoup The language is fine, it's the fact that we have to shoehorn it into the Latin alphabet which doesn't contain the sounds of English that makes it seem nonsensical.

@Invictus disagree, English is filled with arbitrary rules and contradictions which make it difficult to teach and learn.Don't get me wrong, it's my favorite language and the only one I'm fluent in. I'm glad it's the international language for aviation, for instance. At this point it's as good as any for dominating all others in international trade. It's far too late to change any of this.

@Invictus All the terrible parts of English come from the fact that it's a conglomeration of words and aspects from other, widely varying languages and cultures.Which might make it the most adaptable language ever? Which you could use to argue: the BEST language ever.

@IceCubeSoup Wouldn't there be far fewer arbitrary rules if we had an alphabet specifically for English? Why is Spanish and Italian so uniform and simple compared to English? It is because they are speaking a form of Latin and using the alphabet specifically created for Latin.

@IceCubeSoup There are English sounds that are absent from the Romance/Latin languages and we are left to make do with an alphabet that isn't wholly adequate to express English.
