       I sometimes clean empty rentals and new homes. For years I've used a mixture of white vinegar and bon ami (or barkeeper's friend). I mix them into a big squirt bottle, like a ketchup bottle.  Squirt it to coat the surface and let sit for at least 15 min, then scrub with green Scotchbrite pads. Use magic eraser for stubborn stains and scuz.
