@ReadyKilowatt I bought a 1200 sq. ft. house in San Jose in 1994 for $215k. Sold it in 2001 for $495k. It was last sold in 2022 for $1.270m Insane market.

@GJJ @ReadyKilowatt My house is $2M+ and it's far from a "mansion". No idea how individuals are affording these houses today (I first bought in 2001 and traded up in 2007). Companies aren't giving out equity like they did back then.

@relo @GJJ @ReadyKilowatt This was our last home in CAhttps://www.redfin.com/CA/Upland/1550-Somerset-Way-91784/home/3879364This is in Upland CA - about 40 miles to downtown LA.We bought it for about $250K when new & sold it for $310K in 1992. Now worth over $1.1M. Due to prop 13 - still valued at $310K for tax purposes.The first home was a condo we bought for $90K is now worth over $600K a few miles away.
