So, the two biggest comedy events on earth on 2023 was Gervais and Chapelle. Did you watch Silvermans, Schumers and Trevor Noahs things? No, you didn't. Dave Chappelle should have been on the billing for a Golden Globe above these (and others) . I love both Gervais and Chapelle standup. Why G was on, the list and C was not is a mystery... @blingring In way it adds to his reputation because you certainly can't call him a sell out. He has always had his integrity far out before him. He is transparent throughout all of it.

@blingring I loved Chappelle's "The Closer." Really, it was kinder to trannies than Gervais' "SuperNature," not that I care. Chappelle has sympathy for them; Gervais just thinks the whole thing is stupid. I'm camp Gervais on that front, though "The Closer" was an incredible show and definitely worth a nomination, as well as, I think, the award.OMG, Trevor Noah had a comedy special? 😂 How boring must that have been?

@Cousin_Isobel He does. I was very touched with The Closer, his friend and the story. Apparently Noah was on. As a South African I can say he's embarrassing now!
