B4 the 2008 crash, our business rarely had more than 2 or 3 jobs at a time. On the rare occasions we had 4, 3 of them were small. Typically we had 1 big job at a time. After that crash our competition was struggling to finance jobs, so we put our retirement funds into our business and mortgaged our house to the hilt and put that in. Soon we had 6 jobs going. 3 of them big. It was terrifying. Today we have 35 active jobs going 9 of them big. Its amazing to me.

@Phil No doubt. I struggled through jobs to eventual chapter 7 in 2014. Three months after this then it’s finally off the credit report.

@Kevmo that has happened to a lot of people and we have come perilously close. And many times I've had to tap into our personal savings to make payroll. We have a bit of an advantage in that I dont work full time for the business. My wife runs it and we have an awesome VP. So half our income is from a different source. That helps a whole bunch.
