       @francisscottkey And there's a real reluctance by the manufacturers to just build what they can and see what the market does with it. They put all these funding deals with automakers together, who then get exclusive rights. The companies are stuck in an all-or-nothing state, where either they achieve automotive scale manufacturing or just burn cash.These things would be fantastic for drones, and the industry would pay a pretty good premium if they work as claimed, but no. Cars or nothing.
