In times of escalating political chaos, when the monstrous nature of the system becomes overwhelming, it may become imperative for us to confront these political beasts head-on. However, we must tread cautiously, for there is a risk of becoming monsters ourselves. Nevertheless, once the battle is fought, we hope to regain our humanity and return to a more harmonious state. This delicate balance is rooted in the paradox of tolerance, a profound idea put forth by Karl Popper. It suggests that if a society embraces boundless tolerance, it exposes itself to the danger of being consumed or annihilated by the intolerant forces within. Thus, in order to safeguard a tolerant society, it becomes necessary to exhibit intolerance towards those who promote intolerance.
