The flu going around is pretty bad. I'm starting to get a bit better now, but I've heard so many people say they've been getting sick. Hopefully not as bad as me at least. I'm doing okay now, just taking it easy

@Arkana seeing this poast reminded me that i need to drink some hot tea. i'm getting over being sick myself. didn't have the flu tho, thankfully.

@flux_the_cat That's a good idea. I've heard many people having the same kind of symptoms. Mine at least were a very scratchy throat, coughing with mucus in lungs, congestion in my nose, and a lot of pressure in my head

@Arkana are you sure that was the flu and not a chest/sinus infection? because those were almost my exact symptoms and i just had a nasty sinus infection.

@flux_the_cat My mother was in the hospital and they said it was influenza. I ended up getting it after her with most of the same symptoms

@Arkana Haven't had a flu since June 2022 🥂 (and previous one was late 2019).It's weird because when I was a kid I spend most of the time with flu like symptoms, then, once I hit puberty, it became a 1 or 2 times year thing, now, mid-thirties, it happens every few years... I might be inadvertently getting immortal.
