hi from the new PC case. I took pictures of everything and carefully transferred the components to the new case. of course it did not work and I had to call @ultem who kindly walked me through all steps to troubleshoot.now I have a very red and quite silly system, but the 4090 has sooo much space to breathe.

@schappi @ultem no, I think it was GPU cables, although I used the same cables and even plugged it into the same PSU "sockets"(?)

@schappi @kaia Kaia's new expensive case only has power LED and power on switch. No reset, no HDD activity LED, only one USB 3.1 header and no spkr. Maybe that is normal now. I have not bought a case in a decade or so.

@mer @kaia @ultem @schappi hdd activity is useful if u wonder if your pc is still doing stuff or just frozen^^speaker is useful for debugging. though modern motherboards sometimes have an led screen for that.also wow a wild ultem on fedi?!
