@mikemathia The most common sense thing to do here is ban small dogs. The larger dogs will allow the owls to fly higher since they can see them much better.

@silvermoon82 @kierkegaank @mikemathia I had a job at an aviary when I was 13, and as the youngest staff member had the unwelcome job of feeding the eagle owls. I swear I took my life in my hands every time I had to walk into their huge cage laden down with their favorite morsels.I was eventually fired for teaching the cockatoo to say the boss was a tosser. It was worth it.#owls

@kierkegaank @mikemathia A few years back I was out for a night run in the neighborhood when I came across a couple standing outside their pulled over car with both doors open. I stopped to see what was the issue and they tell me an owl had flown into their vehicle while they were driving. I take a peek inside and there, sitting on their dash, was a small owl. I reached in and gave it a gentle push and it flew away.
