I drove about 250 miles on a leaking run flat tire, but I had an inflator with me and kept filling whenever it got down to 15-20psi from recommended 35psi. I never actually drove on it with less than 15psi.I know if I say I drove 250 miles since noticing the leak, Discount Tire won't fix it. But IMO when the tire says "drive 50 miles on it flat" that means FLAT not 50%+ inflated.Tires have about 5000 miles on them.Safe to fix?

@SmedleyButler if there’s no damage to the sidewall and the puncture is at least an inch from it, should be fine to patch.

@SmedleyButlerMaybe, depends on the leak. Fill a spray bottle with soapy water to find it. If it is in the tread and you are handy, get a plug kit or similar and fix it. If the fill valve is leaking, bring to mechanic. Tire ideally should be re balanced either way, so take this cost into account. If the side wall is leaking, get a new tire ASAP
