       Project #fail2ban implemented on my cloud server! I currently have 101 IP addresses on that ban list and I have the list set to expire in 6 months for any of the bots that try to log in as root, admin, or administrator. That'll keep 'em out.

       @housepanther@masto.goblackcat.com I preferred to lower the ban times as those change quite often and the list may become huge (and sometimes this left out good people that were unlucky enough to get assigned a former offender's ip)

       @stesnac Short ban time at 1 hour for IP addresses that choose not to use root, admin, or administrator. Besides, all the offending IPs are Russian and Chinese of origin.
