SNCF has an ad campaign running to tell kids not to cross the tracks, not get distracted by headphones and not use electric scooters on platforms. It does not seem to work, and I see this driving trains, luckily I haven't had the misfortune of hitting anyone yet. Teenagers don't always respond to reasonable injunctions. I don't know if there's a researched method to condition kids against doing stupid dangerous shit.

The way I would have done this campaign would have been to use pictures from past investigations after accidents, not overly graphic so the more impressionable younger children don't get to see that. Having had to clean off bits off a metro after someone got hit, if you had not told me it was human biological material I would not have known, that's how abstract what's left looks after the emergency personnel picks up the bigger chunks. I'm not sure teenagers would understand anyway.
