@FullTimeSailor @francisscottkey I don't think there was anything clearly indicating she would be shot (while unarmed) at that particular doorway. It was a closed door with a large broken window at the top, which she started to climb through. The shooter was hiding in an alcove to the left inside the door. There was a long hall behind the shooter that was empty and there was swat style FBI guys so close they were almost the backstop for the shooting if it had happened a few seconds later.

@FullTimeSailor @francisscottkey I don't think police are normally justified in shooting unarmed people, even if they are trespassing and (arguably) appear to be jumping through a broken window.

@ralphw @francisscottkey So she was in a building that she shouldn't have been in (at that specific moment in time) trying to crawl thru a broken window to get into the House Chamber and was "murdered" in the process. And across the country a few years earlier a BLM member was crawling thru a broken window into a business and was "justifiably" killed. @FullTimeSailor Have you seen the video? I would assume that you haven’t, because if you had, would certainly say that she was murdered. I’m not condoning what she, or anyone, did that day. However watching the entire video, from when the tactical force was in front of the doors/windows and then ceded their position only to take a position *behind* the group and *watch* them breech the window. The audio contains no warning or show of force from the officer/shooter. @ralphw @francisscottkey

@Bunnyslope @ralphw @francisscottkey When someone breaks into your house/business do you pull them aside and have them sign a waiver letting them know that their highly questionable actions may lead to death? Should she have been shot? Most likely not. Should she have been there? Absolutely not. We all have to pay the price for our actions, in high stress environments shit often goes sideways.

Why didn’t the tactical team (that was behind her) intervene or open fire?Name for me the last time that someone who broke into the White House grounds was shot (never mind killed)?
