@theothersimo @Snowshadow Maybe only Max 9s or aircraft with door plugs like the one that failed? Also, I know only #avgeek s like me care, but it’s annoying that the photo in the article isn’t a 737.

@Snowshadow @OldFartPhil @theothersimo I'm curious how they could cram more seats on that aircraft to reach the capacity required for those extra doors. There is no leg room as it is. And what a terrifying story. The clothing was sucked right off the kid sitting there. If he'd been unbuckled he'd be gone.

@IdahoLark I quit flying in the early 1980s. A couple of unpleasant experiences was enough for me. At least in a car accident, your chances of surviving are often better.@OldFartPhil @theothersimo

@Snowshadow I've been in a small plane crash. In Alaska, to go anywhere cool you pretty much have to get on a jet or a bush plane. It took me years before I could fly without being tranquilized.

@IdahoLark @Snowshadow @theothersimo Alaska has a three class cabin - first, premium and economy. An aircraft that would need the extra exit door would be all economy class.Scary, indeed. Good reason to always keep your belt fastened when you're in your seat.
