@vic @dworkin okay, so let's break down what I am seeing now that I have a name.1. He was convicted of four Felony counts.2. He gave a ridiculous defense, regardless of your political views, where he claimed he was acting like a MAGA supporter to blend in and avoid getting hurt.3. He seems like a bit of an idiot.4. He was denounced by BLM long before J6 because of his association with the Proud Boys.

@kinyutaka @dworkin He dressed in MAGA clothes pretending to be one of them, broke things, and encouraged others to do so, and they didn't take him to prison without trial for a year like they did so many others for doing similar.He also sold his videos to major leftist news outlets for somewhere between $70-90k, which was later confiscated. Yes, he's an idiot, and he was the one they (sort of) hung out to dry once it became common knowledge that the FBI were the real instigators in J6. Ray Epps remains mostly protected relative to his involvement, though the dam of truth is starting to break for him as well. The establishment never punishes itself harshly, though. Always just probation and maybe a misdemeanor or two for inciting riots.
