@Pawlicker @Mitsu Tylenol does help me with physical pain and fever. I prefer :weed: in most cases tho. Aspirin still works best for headaches for me.

@sjw I have chronic pain due to injuries when I was younger, unless it's a super high pain day my medication use has dropped substantially. :weed: is honestly fucking great. @Pawlicker @Mitsu

@baraposter @Mitsu @Pawlicker it works better than opiates and doesn't have all the issues of opiates. Yeah it helps with pain but also sleep. I've never slept this good in my life. These days I can just go to bed when I'm tired and I naturally wake up around sunrise fully refreshed. I have an alarm just in case but I hardly ever wake up from it.Plus it helps with my ADHD better than Adderall so I was able to get off of two medications. It's good stuff.

@RedTechEngineer @Mitsu @Pawlicker It's not placebo but it's pretty mild pain relief. Genetics likely come into play too. It works really well as a fever reducer tho

@sjw I've only had two incidences that I've gotten super high. I've also been drinking substantially less and I'm smart about how much I smoke. But nah, my parents and family are all "WEED BAD, NO EXCEPTIONS." @Mitsu @Pawlicker

@baraposter @Mitsu @Pawlicker mine were worried about prescription pain meds. Plus they were especially worried about Gabapentin and stories they've heard about it (yeah it's probably going to end up being worse than the opioid epidemic). Plus my mom got talked into trying CBD tincture for her pain at her hair salon and she said she was amazed at how well it worked. So in their eyes it legit works for pain and they've never heard of someone overdosing and dying from weed so it's safer.

@sjw @Pawlicker @Mitsu I've always just used ibuprofen.Does noticeably mess with blood pressure seemingly, and supposedly mess up your kidneys if you take too much, but it does work most of the time.That being said, I do tend to tough out unless it's above a certain threshold.

@feralphilosophernc My mom has bad arthritis, but CBD oil has helped her hands and arms a lot. It's great. I'm not saying it works for everything but maaaan, it's a lot less harmful than some of the meds I'm prescribed. @Pawlicker @sjw @Mitsu

Absolutely. And combined with a more functional medicine mindset, it's completely improved my health. Night and fucken day from just 2 years ago... I'm currently healthier in my Forties than I was in my teens.

@feralphilosophernc I also know how to dose properly and know my tolerance. I have a comfortable high on days off and a low baseline for working days where I have high pain. What pisses me off is that me having a few puffs after work is treated the same as tweakers who are high on the job but people who drink themselves stupid on the weekends are fine. @Pawlicker @sjw @Mitsu
