Me, once again, having to explain to someone that Anarcho-Communism isn't an oxymoron. I hate the way "state communist" have tarnished the word Communism.

@Radical_EgoCom It should be pretty clear to everyone (not just those who study us) by now that about one-in-three humans, including Americans, are destined to become either morons or assholes. Confounding words for morons is easy, and assholes have, with the miracle of mass media, refined that confounding to an art form. #TheThurd are here to stay. I donβt hold state communists as responsible specifically for the bastardization of the label as I do predatory, grifting capitalists generally.

@LeftToPonder I'd have to put much responsibility on "state communist" for tarnishing the word 'Communism', since they're the ones that conflated the state and communism in the first place. Obviously capitalist media also is at fault for the misinformation about communism, but state communist only made this misinformation campaign easier for the capitalist by promoting an flawed ideology and made communist look even worse than they already did, spawning a stigmatization that persist to this day

@Radical_EgoCom What role should the state play? Who will provide education, health care, infrastructure, laws and enforcement?I do not want to start an argument. I'm asking because I don't know. π

@save The state would play absolutely no role because it wouldn't exist. In an Anarchist society, education, healthcare, and infrastructure will be managed horizontally by professionals in each field, not top-down hierarchically as it is today. There will be no laws to enforce, but community safety and protection will be managed through decentralized, horizontally managed groups of community members.

@Radical_EgoCom OK. Let's talk about education. Who decides who the experts are, who selects them as suitable teachers? I fear that there will be a power struggle anyway, which will also lead to a fragmented system where each community will teach its "truth" according to which power structure has the upper hand.

@save @Radical_EgoCom What you describe is the current system. In the USA Creationism was thought as equal to evolution Florida Bans books for being "woke".You asked "Who will provide education, health care, infrastructure" I ask why western democracies arent able to.Health care in Britain takes a nosedive. Tories destroying the NHS for Capital gain.Germanies Infrastructure is crumbling thanks to austerity the "schwarze Null" same as our health service.

@Benaresh @Radical_EgoCom The fact that there is this fragmentation of education in some countries (the US) is not an argument for me that this would not be the case in anarcho-communism. I don't know of any representative democracy in Europe that has this particular problem with education.

@Benaresh @Radical_EgoCom I wanted to discuss one thing (I chose education) in more depth and not divide forces on several struggles. Because I've long felt that it's easy to criticise the world today (many people see the problems of western democracies) and by cherry-picking to show a better alternative that could (possibly?) work for this one specific issue. But being able to name the problem doesn't mean finding a new complex system that works better and working it out in detail.

@Benaresh @Radical_EgoCom I'm not saying it's your case (I don't know). Anyway, thanks for your replies, I'll keep an eye on what's going on and maybe I'll read something about it in time. π

@save @Radical_EgoComNo biggie." I don't know of any representative democracy in Europe that has this particular problem with education."Check this out:https://www.dw.com/en/germanys-students-fare-worse-than-ever-in-pisa-school-tests/a-67638952We also have a teacher shortage.Thats why we propose horizontalism. Teachers should be involved in finding solutions to those problems. We dont want to provide the perfect solution we want to provide fertile grounds for solutions to arise.

@Benaresh @save @Radical_EgoCom Nobody ever wants to talk about Anarcho-Syndicalism. Or any kind of Libertarian Left. The idea that this is impossible is a lie spread by authoritarians. And in particular by the Authoritarian Right who style themselves as "Libertarians". They contrast Libertarian Capitalism with Authoritarian Communism as if that's the only two choices. But it's projection & DARVO because it's they who are the Authoritarians.
