       reading #FinancialTimes :one thing that americans don’t understand:EU - European Union. - is force for good because it guarantees no wars between its members because economic cooperation is so tight , thanks to EU only, nothing else, EU members have defied history of thousands years when in every century european countries were killing eachother , now EU members might quarrel but war among them is off the table, it’s YUGE achievement :

       @CSB Less than 100 years since that little fracas with Germany.  Don't hold your breath, 100 years is a gnats fart in the scheme of things.  England and France had a tiff so long it got called The Hundred Year war.I jest, here's to peace in our time. 🍻Anyway, with the Confederacy of European States so tight it would probably be termed a civil war.  I wonder if Brexit UK would pick a side or stand aside.

       @CSB @mrjmgregory coming from a third world country and living in EU for a while. I noticed that instead of an army that force people to die in the frontline. The focus has changed to Enterprises that are fighting between each other. You have the stupids CEOs aka generals taking wrong decisions that if I that company was a small feudo. People would die.Basically the subject has changed, but the idea behind is still the same rich people enjoy meanwhile poor suffer.
