       My oldest even said it reminded her of a french fry. While the kids ate theirs buttered and salted as a dinner side, I took things just a bit further and followed Martha’s directions for topping the buttery potato with sour cream and chopped chives.

       The results were one of the most memorable bits of the year.        @LoveAlmonds I love baking a red potato more than I like a baked Russet potato.I'll have to try this suggestion of a Yukon Gold.
