@CSB They are not aliens. They are fallen angels. Their purpose was to watch over each group of humans at the time that were throughout the lands and instead they decided they wanted to be worshipped and wanted to be with women. You'll understand better by listening but it makes sense when you hear the reference of "chosen people", and later how Jesus came and stated he came for both Jews and Gentiles. Abraham was to have a lineage free from the nephelim tribes, hence "chosen".

@CSB In Africa today you have Tutsi tribes that average 6ft and Pygmy tribes that average under 5ft. It seems totally normal that in biblical times there were various tribes of varying height. If an entire group of people is more than a foot taller that your entire group, and human origin is wrapped in myth, it makes sense that you’d create a myth about where those crazy huge (giant) people came from.

Based on what archeologists have been able to glean from historical research, early Neanderthals tended to be taller than those who came later, but their weight remained the same.
