It feels like the German system is "We took the paper system and put a computer in the middle which has one purpose: arbitrarily saying no sometimes"

@erincandescent Meanwhile for France the only digital thing I've heard of is via Doctolib which is exactly like if Facebook was managing health data except awful at security as script-kiddie level of data leaks already happened, so either you get a no-internet style of mess, or you risk having your health data in the wild.
