@tchambers I am experimenting with @wikipediapodden It is a self-hosted WordPress with ActivityPub activated. I haven't figured out how to get the audio file into the actual toots yet.

@tchambers @funkwhale @Castopod Just for clarity (a stupid question but for clarity nonetheles)... Why do you think it's good bringing ~2000 Podcast into becoming federated via the ActivityPub plugin? (Imagine we all have enough audio and have overload even so no difference there)I can guess some points but like to see if you have a list why, just to be clear.What jumps out at me on my side to see more of my question is that good guys / good soft bringing mass is perhaps just more uneducated mass, which can be ok in the bring and teaching at the same time... but also just overload or way for people do more Facebook likes via Fediverse population. (Similar to Mastodon makers not promoting Invidious or other YouTube filters instead of millions of YouTube links which pump google more than Mastodon/Invidious/Free Soft alternatives)Somehow a feeling from me is more personal quality approach more than people constantly switching or doing similar bastard things via switching and then *maybe* using it for good. "Education is the key" is my feeling and don't have 100% solution other than talk to people 1 by 1... (which people can do if not impatient) ...to see that understanding why is important and upgrading 'people's' mindset first too perhaps unlocks everything better (not just becoming federated via the ActivityPub in bastardised fashion which is kinda what Android is turning out to be / is. (Don't mean to mix all these examples but just so you know good things just for bad = bad)Sincere angle / question(s) I want to solve in behaviour / end results.Thanks
