It didn't take long reading his book to realize he is not smart. He tried to force asian religions into a modern feminist lens and sounded like a fool while doing so.His advice is basic life coaching advice.1) Have good posture. (It's good for your mental health and physical health).2) Take care of your life.3) Don't hang around people who are bad for you.4) measure your development based on your development, not based on someone else.5) raise children properly by not having them behave in a way you do not approve. In short parent your kids.6) A combo of keep your house in order and don't throw stones in glass houses.7) don't pursue quick pleasures, pursue things that will have a lasting impact on your life. IE Delay gratification.8) tell the truth or at least don't lie. Not going to lie this is well worded but not living a life of deceit is just basic moral advice.9) Assume you don't know everything and the person you are talking to may know something. IE don't be a narcissist. This rule really shows Petterson isn't following Rule 3. Instructing people to have some humility is good advice, but it really shows he surrounds himself with academics who are narcissists or cultists.10) be precise in your speech. Think about what you want to say and use the correct words to convey your ideas. Good advice, but again basic life advice.11) Do not bother children while they are skateboarding. Without reading the further context I can assume this means let children play or is advice on not interrupting people having fun in life if their fun in no way harms themselves or others.12) Pet a cat when you encounter one in the street. Again without reading further, I'm just going to assume it means enjoy the small things in life and the momen to moment happiness life can bring.It took people a while to realize Peterson wasn't intelligent. It helped when he went after MGTOW and men. Something he admitted later was his greatest mistake. It helped kill his reputation.
