I went out and took down the Christmas decorations from around the compound today. Man, it's been an exceptionally warm, and wet winter; we have garlic popping up from underneath the straw-filled beds, and I actually cut the grass too. Pity there's been little to no snow accumulations on the mountains, which make for an ugly, dry summer. We may be do for some arson I mean forest fires near here, if the crazies have their way. Stay vigilant, people!

@GettingCooked yes, I dont know if you're in CA but the state of my forest and those around me after the 2020 fire is worrisome. A lot of dead trees and they are coming down coupled with decreased canopy and increased ground veg and then add another very wet winter on top of it, and yeah, could get cooked worse than the first time...

@GettingCooked gorgeous land up there, have family in the vicinity, been awhile, decades since there but I love the natural landscape. You guys had a terrible fire year last year, all across Canada, I couldn't believe it.

@GettingCooked I think we will get a cold snap later this month that will dump loads of snow in the mountains. It will probably happen on my next road trip back from Boise. That seems to be how the matrix is currently programmed.Last year it started after I was nearly to Boise. The last 2 hours of the trip took nearly 6 hours. It was brutal! There I'd nothing quite like driving a cargo van loaded with glass in the snow with no visibility.

@Peaceandprosperity We have nothing but warm weather forecast, but I'd pray for a cold snap and a big dump in the mountains. They call them dumps, big dumps. And give me the whole load...
