Hey #BSD friends. I want to try some bsd as my daly driver. Work and everything and I need some help to find live systems to try on my hardware. Any recomendation? #freebsd, #openbsd, #netbsd will work for me.

@mrecondo OpenBSD is great as a daily driver - it was on my laptop for almost 2 years with zero issues. The ONE thing to take into account - for all BSDs - is that support for exotic hardware lags behind Linux. Make sure you test and look at the OpenBSD hardware support.Live CDs for OpenBSD:https://fuguita.org/You can also look for "live USB with OpenBSD" - you should find plenty of recipes out there.Good luck & let us know how it goes!

@ParadeGrotesque Thanks! My hardware is pretty old, except for the wi-fi/bt card. Let's see if I'm lucky :)Worst case scenario, I use my old SSD to install one at a time and test them for real. Not my first choice at the moment.

@ParadeGrotesque the only project with an updated version that I can find is the fuguita. For the others BSD, everything is super outdated =/So let's start with fuguita ;)

@mrecondo There you go.Keep in mind Bluetooth is not supported by OpenBSD, and do check the version/chipset of the wifi card.Old computers work great with OpenBSD! :openbsd:

@mrecondo @ParadeGrotesque hmmh, if you want to check out FreeBSD based live isos, maybe ghostbsd or nomadbsd could also be worth a look.
