My son, a young adult, was positive he could get two wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and return to work today. All the real adults laughed.His boss went so far as to put my son off for the day today, despite junior's insistence.This morning his normal pointed anime jaw is swollen to square chad jaw proportions. It looks painful and hilarious.

@DaemonFools I have a friend who would love to get it all done in one day. She thinks she could be brave for one and only one office visit. Of course, the longer she waits, the more that needs doing, and the more visits it is going to take.

@tj hope he heals quickly. I couldn't afford to be put under when I got mine removed. That was a hell of an experience lolI decided to open my eyes at one point to see the dentist above me with a hammer and chisel breaking my molars up so he could pull them out. I quickly shut my eyes, turned up my music and pretended I didn't see that. I did get a great story out of it at least

@MrMaxPowers247 He's young and in good health, so he'll probably pull together in no time.Today and tomorrow he gets overcooked mac n cheese, and maybe by Saturday he'll be up for chicken nuggets.

@MrMaxPowers247 @tj I had 3 impacted wisdom teeth all taken out at the same time. No gas, just novacaine and Valium. I opened my eyes to see smoke rising from my mouth and the acrid smell of burning flesh and bone and he drilled those motherfuckers out.

@CrimeaRiver @MrMaxPowers247 That sounds horrible.I wasn't sedated, but I did get the NOX. My dentist had posters on the ceiling with hidden animals, so his patients had something to distract them. And of course, noise cancelling head phones with music were provided.My son was fully sedated. The staff kept saying he was a trooper. Really? He slept through the whole thing!

@CrimeaRiver @MrMaxPowers247 Mine was in the late 80s. The dentist had six cassette tapes of different music types. One of his assistants would go turn over the tape every so often.
