Currently visible here, that uncommon sight of the Moon's terminator being a vertical straight line.Every quarter Moon it will be a straight line, but seeing it as vertical takes specific conditions.Not too rare, but not all that common either.

@OscarCunningham It does depend on where you are as to when the vertical terminator is visible.It's a neat thing.

@ColinTheMathmo @OscarCunningham I've a feeling you set this as a puzzle some time ago. I didn't manage to solve it then and I probably won't do so now. My approach is a bit self-limiting: have a think. No paper, no pictures, no notes.
