@mjg59 Compared to already existing system of fast travel? It depends.If you want to travel quick then you would skip metro and just use fast travel.Metro in game is for looking at city via a window. Nothing more.

@mjg59 It seems very similar to the so-called Circle line. https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Circle_line_%26_London_map.svgIt probably started out quite sensibly and then got incrementally “improved” in a setting with cost constraints.

@mjg59 I would say most of the rest of cyberpunk is a rushed mess that had very little deep thought put into it so this is hardly surprising. Seems the result of some rushed poor person being asked to make a metro map and just being hazzily aware of what they look like, maybe googling a few, and then quickly churning one out maybe during crunch. I haven't played the game but I've followed it, I know the metro was advertised and supposed to be in at launch. Did they commit to it in the map at launch and just not have it working and only enable it in 2.1 or has the map been changed and stations and tracks been added with 2.1? Cus if it was committed to pre 1.0 that would also affect how little time the team had to think about it and since it didn't work no one noticed much till now when it was enabled.
