       My boomers like this medical drama called Chicago Med and it's a plot point of this episode that the top ER doctor in the hospital (major character) is an illegal immigrant under DACA and she doesn't have the proper documentation for renewal or some shit and Trump is gonna deport her.Just in case you all were wondering what kind of brainwashing your boomers were getting.

       @0vtcast They've watched like 3 modern medical dramas in the last few days and I can't tell any of them apart. All just vehicles to push the most up to date shitlib ideology that everyone on the show coincidentally believes in by default.The police dramas are even worse. Oh, apparently there's firefighter dramas now too.

       @Remi @0vtcast if you go as far to make every doctor care immeasurably about every patient, might as well go the extra step to shoehorn one more impossible plot point.Always laughed at CPR medical dramas do. Arms out in front, patient at chest height, you couldnt roll dough in that position.

       @Almondee @0vtcast The episode they're watching now has a guy freak out during his wife's birth and he runs into the MRI room flailing around, turns the machine on and gets himself pinned to the machine with the table turned over and crushing him. They can't turn the machine off because a pair of scissors flew into his throat and turning the machine off will make them fall out and he'll bleed to death (in a hospital).This shit is wild.

       @Remi There was a different medical drama (forget which one, Resident or some such, not Chicago) that had the same exact plot point, probably around about the same time period for release date too.Weird, innit?
