Day 2 of fast going well. This is usually the hardest day for me, but this year it’s pretty good. 8 more days of #fast to go. Btw should I feel guilty that I’m not fasting for a cause like everyone else seems to be? Lol

@chadtoshinakamoto @Genen I'm guessing medically supervised, as I'm pretty sure the CGMs are prescription only. Did insurance cover the weight loss fasting advice treatment? The CGM?My G7 sensors can be purchased without insurance at (I'm told) about $150 a month.

@33over10 @chadtoshinakamoto I've been doing a yearly fast for a decade or so... so not 'medically supervised' I do have a script for the CGM, but insurance does not cover so I buy them only now and then to see what different foods do. I'm not fasting for weight loss - that is a side benefit... I find my mind much clearer after a 10 day fast and it's a good way to get things started for the new year!

@chadtoshinakamoto no and yes... I'm doing my standard load of 8 supplements and trace minerals. I'm also not working out during fast, so sweat sodium loss in minimal. I've done 14 days with no salt before and no issues.

@Genen If I had a CGM I would have gladly joined you on your fast.Now what would make it really interesting is if after your fast, you break your fast with a no carb/no sugar diet for a week followed by a week with carbs, but no added sugar.
